1895 Kansas Census

A G Hugo, Kate Hugo and Jacobine Engel
Albert and Kate Hugo moved from Wyanet, Bureau
County, Illinois to Topeka, Shawnee County, Kansas in
1885.  Albert took a position with the Atchison Topeka
& Santa Fe Railroad as a clerk. Retiring from the
railroad in 1901, he and Kate moved to Okawville,
Illinois to live with their son, Charles J Hugo.

Photo taken on her 78th birthday (1926) at
Stella's house, Moline, Illinois
Kate Hugo moved to Idaho with her son Charles J and family in 1915.
She remained there until around 1924 when she returned to Illinois
because of failing health. Staying with Stella Crawford in Moline,
Illinois and Della (Engel) Logan of Chicago, she became ill and passed
away in Chicago, Illinois on December 27, 1926.

W S Logan is the husband of Della Engel Logan.
Della is Kate Hugo and Edward Engel's  sister
