A genealogical experience
The house below at 3224 Barber in Kansas City, Kansas (Argentine) was designed in 1922 by George D Engel, who started
right out of high school in 1908 as a blue print boy and worked his way up to draftsman for the Kansas City Structural Steel
Company. George left KCSS in 1920 to work for Swift & Company. The house was constructed for his mother and father,
Sadie and E J Engel. The image below shows the house right after it was finished.
The house was sold shortly after Sadie passed away in November of 1928.
