DT Nichols was the first station agent for the CB&Q railroad in
Wyanet, Illinois, starting in 1855.

EJ Engel was also employed at the CB&Q  railroad in Wyanet,
Illinois from 1872 to 1875 as a switch tender.
He was then promoted to CRI&P operator from 1875 to 1878.
From 1878 to 1881 he was the joint agent for the CB&Q, CRI&P
Junction.

In 1881 he took a position as a ticket agent with the Atchison,
Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad in Argentine, Kansas where he
remained until his retirement in 1928.

Robert E Jacobs was employed in Kansas City by the
CB&Q railroad in 1945.
He worked at 16 different locations in Missouri
including Birmingham,
Liberty, Block 222 and Callio
as a telegraph operator and leverman.
He left the railroad in 1955 for employment at
Trans World Airlines
